The Finance Club and ABWA Joint BBQ turned out very well. Thanks to those who were able to come and enjoy some burgers, hot dogs, and games. This event was a great time to socialize and get to know other members of our club and fellow business members. Pictures will soon be up from the BBQ

Sunday, October 5th from 10:00am-11:30AM Adopt-A-Park Event

We will be picking garbage, and helping to clean up the Park to reveal its natural beauty... We'll meet at Centennial Park on 6th and Rockledge

Directions will be on the Events Page.

 

GROW is now availabe for those who want to participate in spending a small amount of your time to do arts and crafts, play games, and be role models for kindergartners and first graders in the Boys and Girls Club. They will be held on Thursdays from 4pm-5:15pm at the New York Elementary. Email Erica with any additional questions you make have.

Next MEETING will be on October 14th, at 7:00 pm in the Centennial Room of the Kansas Union, our Guest Speaker will be from Hallmark.

If you have not payed your national dues with ABWA or KU ABWA chapter dues...Please do! As soon as possible, Turn them into Sachin at our next meeting as well as the Membership Information forms if you are new members. If paying check, make payable to ABWA-- $35 and KU ABWA-- $10.
