“Hello, I'm Emily Burgen, the President of Margaret Amini Scholarship Hall. I hail from Eskridge, Kansas, a small town located outside of Topeka. I grew up knowing I wanted to be a Jayhawk, and here I am at KU majoring in Communications and Math. The fun times you have and the interesting and great people you meet are my favorite aspects of the Scholarship Halls. If I'm not spending time in Margaret Amini or the Scholarship Hall community, you can find me running throughout campus, hanging out with friends getting coffee or ice cream (two of my favorite foods) downtown or at the library!”
