What is ASHC?
From the Constitution of the All Scholarship Hall Council of the University of Kansas:
ARTICLE II: PHILOSOPHY AND PURPOSE

- The All Scholarship Hall Council is a reprensentative organization of the eleven scholarship halls. Its members recognize the unique advantages of the scholarship hall system and hope to foster a spirit of cooperation in which common interests are developed, problems resolved and goals realized
- 2.B
- In keeping with this spirit, the purposes of the All Scholarship Hall Council are:

- To be a forum for discussion of the issues pertinent to the scholarship hall system.
- 2.B.2
- To assist the Department of Student Housing in forumlating policies and guidelines for the Scholarship Hall system.
- 2.B.3
- To be a liaison for the scholarship halls to administrative offices, other living organizations, and student groups of the University of Kansas.
- 2.B.4
- To sponsor and actualize activities, and involve the residents of all the Scholarship Halls.
- 2.B.5
- To promote a positive sense of unity and identification within the scholarship hall system.
- 2.B.6
- To facilitate integration of new scholarship hall residents.
- 2.B.7
- To foster recognition of the Scholarship Halls on a local, regional, and national level.
