Universal House of Justice in Haifa, Israel

A Baha'i is a follower of Baha'u'llah (an Arabic title which means "The Glory of God"). Baha'u'llah, who declared his mission in 1863, taught that religion is progressively revealed by God, Who reveals His will to humanity through Divine Messengers (Abraham, Krishna, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad, and others). Baha'u'llah, the most recent Messenger of God, has brought a world-embracing message of divine guidance to help humanity achieve higher levels of excellence, to abolish prejudice, to establish true equality between the sexes, to eliminate the extremes of wealth and poverty, to ensure universal education, and to unify the hearts of men.

The Baha'i Faith is established in 236 countries and territories throughout the world, making it the second-most widespread religion in the world. Baha'is come from over 2,100 ethnic, racial, and tribal groups and are numbered between 5 and 6 million worldwide.
