September 10th (Saturday)
Brazilian Barbecue @ Clinton Lake from 12:00 - 4:00pm, at shelter #2. Admission is $5 or you can contribute with a Brazilian dish. The costs for the ingredients will be covered by BRASA, so keep your receipts for a refund. BRASA appreciates your help. See you there!

September 14th (Wednesday)
BRASA's General Meeting at the Yellow Sub - Upstairs (Oread St.) at 6:30pm
During the meeting, FREE subs will be provided for the members (people that you may invite can become a member during the meeting!) and the events for the upcoming academic year will be presented. Elections for a new SOCIAL CHAIR: During the meeting we will elect a new social chairperson for BRASA. Letters of intent due at the meeting (or you can just email us at brasa@ku.edu).

September 21st (Wednesday)
Re-start of the traditional weekly BRASA Brazilian Table/Mesa Brasileira
At the "Hawks' Nest" (Kansas Union, 1st floor). The Brazilian table is a weekly meeting of KU students from all around Brazil with students of the Portuguese language at KU, and other people interested in the Brazilian culture and/or the Portuguese language. It's a FREE event, every Wednesday.

September 28th - Second Brazilian Table @ Hawk's Nest

October 5th - Third Brazilian Table

October 12th - Open Mic

October 19th to October 22nd - Brazilian Week

October 20th - Forro Workshop, in the Kansas Union Ballroom, @ 7:15 PM
