The Counseling Psychology Student Organization (CPSO) is composed of M.S. and Ph.D. students in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Kansas.

The primary mission of CPSO is to provide support to all students in the Counseling Psychology program in all respects. This mission is carried out through a variety of means, including bi-monthly meetings, academic development seminars, research opportunities and assistance, service opportunities, our Peer Mentoring Program, a monthly newsletter, and social events.

In addition, CPSO provides a communication channel between the students and faculty. A Doctoral and Master’s Representative attend the faculty meetings where they can express the needs and concerns of the students and then share information obtained at these meetings with the students.
