CPSO offers a Peer Mentoring Program to all incoming Master’s and Doctoral level students. Basically, a current student is paired with an incoming student during the spring so incoming students have someone they can contact upon acceptance into the program and throughout the year with any questions or concerns. Questions can be about the Lawrence area, classes, the program, or anything you would like! After the new student orientation in August, CPSO will organize a Peer Mentoring social where you can meet your mentor and other students in the program. Participation is voluntary, so even after being paired, there is no obligation to contact your mentor—it is just a way to further help new students in the program.
