Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who do we look for in candidates that want to join Delta Sigma Pi?
We look for people who will help us maintain an image of professionalism, as well as further the progress of the fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi has a lot to offer, and as with any activity, what you get out of it is what you put into it. We are a diverse fraternity with many different backgrounds, interests, and personalities. But what we do have in common is our determination to strive for success.
Q: If I join a business fraternity, can I still be a part of a social fraternity or sorority?
Yes. Many of our Brothers are also involved in social fraternities and sororities on campus.
Q: What is the time commitment?
For a new pledge, you should be available around 6:00 PM on Thursday nights. Pledge class meetings last about an hour. Once initiated, you'll be able to meet with the rest of the chapter at 7:00PM on Thursday for an hour. Other commitments involving community service, professionals, and socials vary. The value of your experience with DSP equals the amount of time you are willing to commit.
Q: Am I allowed to join other business fraternities?
No. When joining DSP you cannot rush any other professional business fraternity. You are, however, allowed to be a part of social fraternaties/sororities.
