We hope all of you are having a great fall break. I just wanted to make a post to make you aware of a few upcoming events

October 30th, 2008 - Wind Energy Panel

We will be hosting Matt Gilhousen of TradeWind LLC and Dale Jones from EnerTech. TradeWind is involved with the development of wind farms while EnerTech produces the actual turbines. It should be a very interesting panel and will provide some insight on the possibilities of wind energy in Kansas. Specific details will follow

November 19th, 2008

This week marks the 2nd annual global entrepreneurship week. The worldwide event was started last year by the Kauffman foundation. The Entrepreneurship Club will be doing its part by bringing in a spectacular panel. The event will center around superstar athletes who have translated their success from on the field to off the field endeavors. The panel will consist of Bud Stallworth, Bobby Douglass and Deron Cherry. The event will take place at 7:30pm and is going to be open to the public. Check back for more details as the event approaches.

Finally, I just want to thank everyone for being patient this semester. We have been working on some big events and everything finally fell into place.
