The EcoHawks are committed to working with students in all departments in order to facilitate interdisciplinary learning

 

· KU Energy Club - Goal is to provide students with a no-frills opportunity to hear dialogue between the three key players in the energy sector - industry, policy makers and academics - and then allow them to form their own opinions on the issues

· Jayhawk Motorsports - KU Formula SAE Racing team

· Remote Sensing (2010) - This senior design project was from a team of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science students at KU that built a remote transmitter for on-board R/C car data collection.

· Aerospace Engineering Technologies Lite (2010) - Aerospace Engineering student efforts at building a wind turbine to connect to the Beetle’s solar energy filling station.

· Adam Roush’s Portable Mobility Design Project (2009) - Development of a portable public transportation concept as part of KU Industrial Design.

· Regenerative Braking System: Team EEcoHawks (2009) - Electrical Engineering and Computer Science students implementing regenerative braking on an R/C car.
