Afternoon Lecture Series
Roberta Spires (rspires@ku.edu, 842-6820), Mary Schweppe (schweppe@ku.edu, 842-1147), and Howard O'Connor (843-1884). Stan and Janet Roth (sdroth@ku.edu, jroth@ku.edu, 843-4764), and Ellen Gold (843-6933) are in charge of programs.
June 14—Program begins at 2:30; sherry at 2:00. Following the celebration of June birthdays, our speaker will be Tom Mulinazzi, Chairman of the University of Kansas Parking Commission, who will speak on parking issues. This will an opportunity for members to share their concerns about parking on campus.
Card and Game Theory

Cinema Studies

June 19—Film at 2:00, coffee at 1:45, in the Paul Adam Lounge. We will show the first of three Robert Altman films in order to recognize this remarkable Kansa City film-maker. It will be the 1973 film The Long Goodbye starring Elliott Gould as Philip Marlowe in this Raymond Chandler "noir" mystery. Bring your friends!.
