Afternoon Lecture Series

September 13—Program at 2:30, sherry at 2:00, in the Bruckmiller Room. Following the celebration of September birthdays, we will also celebrate Founder's Day for the Endacott Society. Earl Schweppe will give a brief history of the Society, and a review of his research on Paul Endacott's family.

September 18—Film at 2:00, coffee at 1:45, in the Paul Adam Lounge. By popular request, Tea With Mussolini, directed by Franco Zeferelli and starring Cher, Lily Tomlin, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith and Joan Plowright, will be shown. The film takes place in the gorgeous Italian hill town of San Geminiano. Join us and bring your friends.

Drama Study Group

The Corporal's guard able to be present at its last meeting made good progress on the Group's current reading of Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night, but chose to leave the play's critical final pages to be completed by the larger forces expected to be on hand when next we meet. Copies of the play will be available at Wednesday Coffee.
