  • Veggie Lunch
  • Held at the ECM every Thursday 11:00 - 1:00. The food goes fast, so get there early! Promotes community and environmental awareness. You'll probably hear about an awesome event and meet your best friend.
  • Environs meetings
  • Held every Tuesday night at 5:30pm. Get updated and get involved in what we're planning.
  • Farmer's Market
  • Buying local and organic food cuts down on "food miles," the distance food has to travel to get to your plate, reduces energy and resources used, cuts down on ecologically-sensitive pesticides, stimulates the local economy, and is a fun way to reconnect you with the food you eat.

  • Critical Mass
  • What is that huge group of cyclist doing on the road? Promoting bicycle awareness! This event meets at Wescoe beach once a month, typically the last Friday.

  • Recycalusa
  • Yearly recycling effort to help alleviate waste at the Wakarusa Music Festival. Environs always has a big number of volunteers (and it's not just for the free tickets).
  • Earth Day
  • Environs manages Lawrence's Earth Day Parade which usually includes floats, paraders, and a lot of bikes. It ends with a fair at South Park.
  • Energy Fair
  • Prairie Festival @ the Land Institute
