What is GASP?

A professional organization open to any graduate student currently enrolled in the School Psychology department at the University of Kansas.

Our Mission

To strengthen the future of School Psychology as a profession by supporting graduate students' awareness of issues pertaining to School Psychology, sharing research and information to further develop skills and knowledge, and promoting activities that lead to involvement and interaction with the Lawrence community.

Our Goals

To enhance graduate students' experience at KU by providing a holistic incorporation of theory, practice, current events, and an awareness of the potential future of our profession through:

-Guest lectures-Ed.S. Research Project Presentations

-Providing information on available employment and internships to our members

To encourage undergraduate students to enter the discipline of School Psychology through:

-Participating in the Education Job Fair-Speaking about School Psychology in undergraduate classes

-Promoting GASP on campus by participating in GSO and other university sponsored events
