Goals of GSA

Ø To encourage communication among graduate students within the anthropology department, among students in the different sub-disciplines of anthropology, and among other students interested in anthropology.

Ø To function as an advocacy group for the graduate students within the anthropology department.

Ø To function as an advocacy group for the needs of the graduate teaching assistants in the anthropology department.

Ø To serve as a forum for discussion among students about upcoming faculty hires and other changes within the Anthropology department.
