Kansas Association of Planning Students (KAPS)
The Kansas Association of Planning Students is the student organization of the Graduate
Program in the Urban Planning at the University of Kansas. All graduate students
in the program belong to the organization and KAPS officers are elected every December to serve
a term of one year. KAPS organizes and sponsors social events, lectures, and planning-related
volunteer opportunities in the Lawrence community. KAPS also engages in fundraising activities to
help defray the costs of sending graduate students to the annual conference of the
American Planning Association.
