A team from KU got awarded Runner-Up in the ASA Student Design Competition. The team was comprised of John Hodgson, Jon Birney, and Shane Kanter. The competition occurred during the last ASA meeting in Portland, Oregon.

The ASA's 158th meeting in San Antonio, Texas was a blast! The meeting was the week of October 26, 2009.  The next meeting of the Acoustical Society of America will be in Baltimore, MA.The ASA has placed their call for papers for this meeting. The University of Kansas Student Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America is a Regional Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America.

 

The purposes of this chapter are to stimulate interest in acoustics, encourage acoustical research, diffuse the knowledge of acoustics, promote its practical applications, and provide a forum wherein the many aspects of acoustics and related disciplines can be examined, discussed, and otherwise explored.
