NAESC

The KU Engineering Student Council is a proud member of the National Association of Engineering Student Councils. Within NAESC, KU ESC is a member of the Central Region.

Cheap Lunch

Every Thursday, students can purchase lunch for just $2. During the non-winter months or during nice days during the winter, the lunch consists of a hot dog, chips, and a drink. During the winter months while the weather is bad, a grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup, cookies, and a drink is prepared. Look for us in the Engineering Courtyard between Eaton and Learned Halls or in front of the Self Computing Commons in Eaton Hall.

FAC

Thee Funding Advisory Committee is organized by Engineering Student Council with the purpose of reviewing requests made by Engineering Student Organizations for funding initiatives of the organization. The ESC Vice President chairs the committee and is joined by 2 representatives for each department in the School of Engineering as chosen by the department chair.

Please click on the FAC link on the top navigation bar for more information.

General Meetings

Engineering Student Council serves as the voice of the students in interacting with the administration of the KU School of Engineering. Semimonthly meetings serve as an opportunity for students to discuss current issues with Dr. Sorem, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies. ESC General Meetings also serve as a time to announce upcoming School of Engineering events and to coordinate inter-organization cooperation for joint events, lectures, and activities.
