Welcome to Cultural India Club at University of Kansas, an Indian Student Association on the KU main campus in Lawrence. It is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to cherish the rich and vibrant culture of India. We give prime importance to assisting and helping new Indian students settle in Lawrence and make their educational experience at KU enjoyable. We are formed by undergraduates and graduate students, faculty members and numerous well-wishers. KUCIC provides a platform for many students to display their creativity through participation in different cultural shows which capture the celebrative mood of various Indian festivities. KUCIC organizes various events and celebrates different festivals like Diwali, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Independence Day to name a few. We also organize picnics, dance parties and movie shows several times during an academic year. To summarize, KUCIC provides an opportunity for people to indulge in social gatherings and share their thoughts and ideas.
