 Welcome Friends We at Cultural India Club @ KU would like to invite you all to celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi. Ganesha festival is a day on which Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati, is believed to bestow his presence on earth for all his devotees. We have Ganesha Sthapana (consecration of the Ganesha idol) at Park 25 Apartments, 2401W, 25th St, Apt # 16B8, Lawrence 66047. We will have Ganesha puja twice a day starting Sunday August 23 through Saturday August 29, 2009. We will have 21 item offerings (prasad) on the final day of the celebration on Saturday August 29, 2009. Additionally, we will conclude the Ganesh festival week with a Traditional Day and a Potluck Dinner. Thank you all and hope to see you all join the celebration. |
