Who Are We?
An interdenominational group of graduate students & faculty at the University of Kansas connected by our common relationship to Jesus Christ and our desire to bring His life and words to bear on our lives and studies. What Are We Committed To? - Cultivating lives that reflect Christ at work in our midst - Cultivating a community that reflects our commitment to Jesus Christ - Demonstrating & proclaiming the centrality of Jesus Christ as the source of hope & healing in our world and in our campus culture - Integrating our faith, learning & practice into a whole life vocation Our Goals - To discover and nurture the relationship between our studies and our life as Christians - To provide a supportive, encouraging, diverse, multiethnic community for our growth as Christians - To invite others to join us in this venture Our Activities - We gather for studies & discussions appropriate for Christians who are academics - We provide & participate in conferences, seminars, service projects, & social events Photo: Part of our group after enjoying a meal together at a "First Friday" gathering.  |
