About
KU's Dennis E. Rieger Scholarship Hall opened its doors in 2005. This building houses about 50 women and features some traditional 2-person rooms along with 4-person suites. We, women of Dennis E. Rieger, have established some hall traditions such as "Fireplace Chats" and father-daughter weekends. Rieger is a twin building with the adjacent scholarship hall, Krehbiel Hall, which opened in 2008. Our hall is "green" and features a quiet, energy-efficient geothermal heating and cooling unit and was designed to blend in with the neighborhood's turn of the century homes.
The 2010-11 school year marks Rieger's 6th year at KU. Rieger has 50 diverse and beautiful young women who are successfully driven in their lives. Each member will make their mark on the world and has already accomplished so much! Right now everyone is focusing on forming lasting relationships with one another and of course, getting through college!
Look forward to the first and best schol-hall wide social event of the year held in Rieger! The smashing 80's dance!
Rieger Scholarship Hall is lead by sixteen women making up the Hall's executive board. These women keep Rieger ordered and running smoothly, with positions ranging from President to Community Service Chair and everything in between.
