Bylaws Statement

The Student Council of the School of Architecture and Urban DEsign (STUCO) shall consist of graduate and undergraduate students assembled for the purposes of promoting academic, professional, and social programs within the School. Student Council shall act as the voice of the student body and act as a liaison between the professional organizations in Architecture, Architectural Engineering and Urban Planning with the School of Architecture and Urban Design (SAUD).

Functions of STUCO

As the prime student organization of the School of Architecture and Urban Design, Student Council serves as the center of communication between students and faculty members. STUCO promotes student interest and paritcipation in the activities and governance of the School. Ultimately, we strive to increase the involvement of architecture students in community service projects, foster a connection between them and the administrative offices and open communication among student organizations associated with the field of architecture. As stated by our bylaws:
  • STUCO shall be responsable for the coordination of events between student organizations within the School, and shall be an outlet by which student organizations may deal with any problems or concerns that may arise.
