Rules and Regulations for Gardeners |
|
PLEASE respect your fellow gardeners’ space. |
|
- |
Stouffer residents may not harvest produce from any of the garden plots unless they have permission from the gardener who works that plot. |
- |
All garden tools must be returned to the tool barrel immediately after use so that fellow gardeners can use them also. |
- |
Water hoses must be returned to hose rack immediately after use so that fellow gardeners have access to them also. |
- |
All gardeners may use ONLY the allotted space assigned by Housing and/or SNA and may not garden outside of their assigned plots. |
- |
Gardeners are not allowed to grow plants in assigned garden walkways. |
- |
All gardeners must be present when watering their garden plots. Leaving garden plot while water is running is not allowed. |
- |
Please respect other gardeners’ produce - do not harvest anyone else’s produce without their permission. |
- |
Gardeners may not use pesticides or fungicides on another gardener’s plants and produce without their permission. |
- |
If a particular garden plot is empty, you MAY NOT use it without permission from SNA and Garden Managers or the plot will be dug-up immediately. Empty plots are assigned to residents on the garden waiting list. |
- |
Please report anyone who violates your rights as a gardener to one of the Garden Managers. |
| Violation of a rule will result in a warning. Three warnings will result in the loss of gardening privileges for the season and the gardener’s plot will be turned over to a resident on the gardening plot waiting list. | |
