What Is SOMA?
SOMA stands for Society of Open-Minded Atheists and Agnostics, and is the only non-theist student group at KU as well as an affiliate of the Secular Student Alliance and the Center for Inquiry-On Campus. We organize social activities, sponsor events to inform the public about secular issues, and hold regular meetings with a variety of subjects and structures. If you like us and you're interested in getting involved, let one of the officers know and we will be more than happy to help you find a way to be involved or volunteer that's right for you.

To educate, organize, and unite students and members of the community by promoting a positive image of non-theists and the ideals of rationality, science, secularism, and human-based ethics.
