The following members of the executive board were absent: Jillian Badger

I. President, Neal Anson

A. Discussion of the by-law revisions

1) Would like to add the classification of associate member under Article II, section 2.

a) This would open up membership to students who do not meet all the chapter requirements.

2) It was suggested to change the national dues fee of $30 to $35 under Article II, section 6.

a) This would allow our chapter to increase its funds when national dues are paid, because the $30 is sent to and kept by the national society.

3) Stricter regulations for meeting attendance should be added in Article II, section 11.

a) Suggestions include the termination of a member’s status after missing two meetings without an excuse.

4) Article III, section 1 no longer pertains to our chapter and therefore should be removed.

5) Article IV, section 2 is not necessary and therefore should be removed as well.

B. Addition of a Historian to our Chapter

1) A description of the position will be written and added to the by-laws to be reviewed.

2) Will be decided upon and elected at the next meeting
