Our Chapters Academic Bar is set at a 3.2 grade point average (GPA). Each semester every member is given an Academic Report completed by the Academic Development chair, which is used to help members monitor their scholastic achievements and make room for future improvement.

Our Chapter has a designated quite study area as well as a separate group study area. Our academic resources include test files, professor evaluations and bulletin board with all of KU's academic information.

There are many academic incentives available to members. Weekly "smarty pants" awards are given to women who receive an A on a test. A monthly Bookworm award is awarded to the woman who has shown extraordinary scholastic effort. There is also a Scholarship Award dinner every semester to recognize members who receive a GPA of 3.2 and higher with according monetary awards.

For our new members we provide a workshop in which they learn how to adjust to the college academic lifestyle. We also have a system called "Major Mates" which pairs new members up with upper classman with the same or related major.
