Homework
Week 16: 11.28-12.02
Make sure you are getting everything done for your classes! Keep up our reputation of excelling
on the field AND in the classroom.
That's all! Have some good time off from MB!
Week 15: 11.21-11.25
Only one rehearsal this week. Take care of the things you need to now, like getting your uniform ready
for Saturday so that when you come back from eating a lot and being lazy, you are already prepared!
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PERFORMANCE QUALITY GLOVES!!
I don't want to have to make an example out of someone on Saturday.
Week 14: 11.14-11.18
No homework this week.
But make sure we take advantage of rehearsal days with decent weather,
because there are no guarantees of good weather next week, and we need to look good at our last game of the season!
Week 13: 11.07-11.11
Prepare for the Texas trip. We leave on Thursday night, so I would recommend making sure you
have everything together Wednesday night. If you haven't taken your uniform to the dry cleaners
yet, you are behind! Use the posted check list to make sure you have everything!
For example, if you forget your overlay, and Hudson decides to wear it at the game, you won't even
suit up!
Week 12: 10.31-11.04
Refresh yourself on the EWF movement package. Go over your dotbooks before rehearsal Wednesday
so that we can streamline the relearning process.
Sorry we couldn't pull off the Mangione show this year. It was indeed a lofty goal, and hopefully we
be able to tackle it better next year.
Week 11: 10.24-28
We will be working on Alumni Band music, stand tunes, and Mangione music. Make sure you bring
all of your music to rehearsals this week.
For a listing of what tunes will be played when, see "Travel & Shows" --> "Shows"
Week 10: 10.17-21
Keep working hard! Thanks to those who are setting a great example for the section and the band.
Your hard work is being noticed! You others out there, please take the hint.
This weekend is the most important performance for us this year!!
Week 9: 10.10-14
Try to find errors in your show. Think about what spots in the show you were not very happy with at K-State.
Figure out what you can do (NOT what others can do) to make the next one better.
Focus on your gig; what you can control yourself.
National television audience this weekend, coming off of a free Friday. We need to be even more ready
Wednesday since we have that Friday off!
Dot Books due TODAY (MONDAY)
Week 8: 10.03-07
Keep working on getting notes and rhythms down for The Who music.
Work on horn visual on your own. Make sure you've got the counts down. And put some stank on it.
KState this weekend. Push hard!
Dot Books DUE next Monday!!
Week 7: 9.26-30
Begin working on dot books for The Who.
Learn your dots.
Mark in breaks in music!!
Week 6: 9.19-23
I witnessed many of you altering the fight songs at the last game. This
can not happen. If you need to review your fight songs, now would be a
great time to do this.
Focus on fundamentals this week.
